Graphic Designer

Job Description

Westbank Commercial Printing Company servicing the entire region seeks a creative Graphic Designer who wants to expand their knowledge of printing and be trained in digital output. We are looking for someone who is organized and enjoys guiding customers in their choices. The successful candidate has above average telephone and general computer skills. Most of our work is business to business. We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal candidate is able to multi-task. Graphics work will focus on various media using Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Skills

• Degree or work experience in Design, Marketing or related discipline
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Excellent communication skills both email and telephone
• Excellent Computer skills and willingness to be trained on estimating/order entry software
• Ability to work closely with others in our organization

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple assignments
• Communicate with clients via email and telephone on their printing needs.
• Enter details of printing jobs into industry order entry/estimating software.
• Consult with clients on their printing needs
• Be on-site during office hours of Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm
