Job Description
Part-Time Retail Associate(s) is/are responsible for assisting the Retail Store Managers in the overall operations of the Red Wing Shoe Store.
Key functions and responsibilities:
• Promote and support the high-quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling.
• Enter customer information and sales into the X-Store point-of-sale system and industrial vouchers, process payments, balance cash drawer and daily reporting.
• Measure and fit every customer properly by following Red Wing’s Ultimate Fit 5-step process every customer, every fitting.
• Explain product features and benefits, as well as technical specifications.
• Practice industrial sales lead development on the fitting stool.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and 0-2 years related experience/training.
• Enjoy meeting serving and interacting with customers.
• Team and collaboration orientation
• Results oriented
• Effective Written/Verbal Communication
• Computer Utilization
• Retail footwear and/or wholesale experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Lifting 50 pounds, bending lacing shoes, and climbing a ladder to access stocked products.
• Store maintenance duties including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping & waxing floors, washing windows, receiving/stocking/and re-stocking products, and setting up and maintaining displays.
