Bakery Retail Associate

MAD Hospitality is looking for a talented, professional and dynamic Retail Associate for Patisserie on Main, a French bakery on the square set to open in November 2022.  MAD Hospitality’s current units, opened in Fall 2021 to great reviews, include The Sinclair, MAD Taco and Hart & Crown Tavern and coming soon, a fine dining restaurant and event space.

As Retail Associate, this individual will provide excellent service and a positive experience to each of our customers.  

Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting and interacting with customers
• Knowledge of products and ingredients, and ability to talk about them with customers
• Assisting customers in selection and taking orders
• Following proper POS and cash handling procedures
• Re-stocking throughout the shift as needed, rotating products and removing out-of-date products
• Ensuring that the bakery is clean and presentable at all times
• Complying with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhering to safe work practices
• Answering the phone 
• Responding to customer email inquiries
• Processing and packaging online/phone orders for pickup

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent 
• Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift objects up to 20 lbs on your own
• Flexibility in schedule, including weekends and holidays
