Lead Baker/Midnight Baker/Wholesale Baker/Market Merchant

Cafe Francais is looking for any one of these 3 positions to fill depending on experience and interest. We are a small family owned local french bakery off of Pantano and Wrightstown with the majority of our sales generated at farmers markets. We also have a few wholesale accounts and our boutique storefront and have hopes to only keep growing.

Lead Baker- Leading/assisting 2-3 other bakers in daily prep. Responsible for daily prep and cleaning lists, inventory, Prepping alongside bakers, market sets and more.

Midnight baker- Requires a start time between 11pm-2am depending on day and market. Responsable for each days bake for farmers markets and boutique as well as packaging items to be sent out, small prep including but not limited to glazes and egg wash, as well as setting each market bake the day before.

Wholesale Baker- Responsible for all wholesale account production from start to finish. Including but not limited to burger buns, italian bread, focaccia, cakes, and brownies.

Market Merchant- Work days and times vary depending on markets (ie. seasonal hour change) Typically around 5-6am to 1-2pm Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 2 times a month. Responsible for loading products into a provided van, driving to market location, setting up tent, tables and product, working with a register and card reader to sell our products to customers, packing up and returning to the bakery. (Az. drivers license and clean driving record required)
