Job Description
The detailer specializes in the cleaning and seasonal maintenance of boats.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Weekly washes, compounding / waxing painting, polishing metal, teak cleaning, interior detailing, engine room cleaning, ceramic coats.
• Set up and tidy up of sand blasting jobs.
• Shrink wrapping
• Operate buffers, hoses, vacuums, shrink wrap guns and power tools to meet service expectations
• Inspect finished jobs overall condition so it will be acceptable to the customer
• To carry out those duties and responsibilities assigned by crew leader
• Available to work overtime when required
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
Applicants will need
• Previous marina experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Basic boat knowledge a plus
• Eagerness to engage in a growing, fast paced industry
