Job Description

TBR Scholastic Services Corp (The Tutoring Center, Moorpark) is looking for applicants who are passionate and enthusiastic about working with children ages 5 to 17. We look for candidates that are "well-rounded" individuals and capable of working with children who need help in Reading, Writing and Math.

No experience necessary, but a strong desire to help children excel academically is required! Applicant must have a strong command of written and spoken English to be clearly understood by children.

Available Positions and Educational Requirements:

*Head Instructor, 25 Hrs./Wk. (Mon. - Fri.), Assist center director in all management areas and instruct students one-on-one, must have college degree in any area

*Instructor, 4 - 16 Hrs./Wk. (Mon. - Thurs.), Instruct students one-on-one, must have college degree in any area

*Assistant Instructor, 4 - 16 Hrs./Wk. (Mon. - Thurs.), Instruct students one-on-one, must be currently enrolled in college (minimum GPA of 3.5)

*Intern, 4 - 16 Hrs./Wk. (Mon. - Thurs.), Instruct students one-on-one, must currently be a high school student with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and be in the top 5% of your class.

Selected candidates should demonstrate strong performance on our Math Assessment (6th to 9th grade math skills).
