Our well-established noninvasive/interventional cardiology practice located on Florida’s beautiful Treasure Coast (Fort Pierce area) has a full-time opening for a Medical Assistant with a minimum of two years of medical assistant experience. Come work with our qualified, experienced and caring professionals who put their patients first and have their patients’ health and satisfaction as their highest priorities.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): prepping patient charts, Vitals, EKG, PT/INR testing, Heart Monitor, prepping patients for Stress Test, initiating orders for procedures, labs and prescriptions, educating patients on medication and nutrition, patient initial encounters, physician support, returning patient calls and documentation in the EMR. Two years of EMR experience is required.

The successful candidate will be a team player and flexible with job assignments, able to multi-task, be dependable and have an excellent job attendance record, enjoy working with patients and will demonstrate strong customer service skills. Experience in cardiology and eClinicalWorks is a plus.
