CNC Lathe - Setup/Machinist - Lead 1st Shift

Responsibilities:

 Setup and Operate vertical and horizonal machine tools to produce precision parts, we
make jewelry...
 Make great looking parts, debur and hand finish the details that cannot be done on the
machine, make sure that every part is perfect, a good job looks good...
 Attention to detail, complete paperwork correctly every time, all the time, without having
to remind you a million times...
 Clean and organized work area, check lube oil, coolant, filters, chips in places that cause
issues, etc, etc, etc. You like to keep your work area clean and organized
 Teamwork, everyone is pulling together to get the job done. Keep the customer happy!
​Qualifications:
 Can walk up and do setups with Fanuc controls for 5 axis horizonal and vertical milling
machines.
 Understand complex drawings and geometric tolerances
 Can use boring heads to dial in detailed bores to .0005 inch and set them
 Can use metrology equipment like profilometers to measure 16 Ra finishes
 Strong analytical and mathematical skills
 Strong attention to detail
 Positive can do attitude to figure things out
 Excellent attendance and work habits
 Willingness to learn and teach
Other Important Details:
 Work hours are M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm (we sometime work weekly OT before and after
the start times as needed and work for your family schedule to meet the customer needs,
and/or 1/2 day on Saturday)
