Job Description

This position will work with management to identify/recruit for the executive-level needs throughout the corporation and will also assist in the overall administration of the corporation's benefit programs. Basic job duties for the recruiting portion of this position include (but are not limited to) writing detailed job descriptions, posting jobs on various platforms, and performing interviews and reference checks on applicants. Basic job duties pertaining to corporate benefits will include assisting in the implementation, administration, and communication involving the corporation's fringe benefits, i.e. insurance, 401(k) plans, workers' compensation, etc. This person may also serve as the liaison with outside benefits administration firms dealing with these benefits.

This position is at the corporate headquarters in Pewaukee and reports directly to the President and CEO of a multi-divisional manufacturing company.

 

Job responsibilities pertaining to executive recruiting include:

  • Write job descriptions and prepare and place print and digital advertisements using various media outlets and job boards.
  • Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Initiate contact with potentially qualified candidates for specific job openings.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens and send applications to qualified applicants for completion and submission.
  • Review applications and interview applicants to obtain detailed work history (including experience and accomplishments), education, training, job skills and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
  • Perform reference and background checks on applicants.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in regard to company, applicant and personnel matters.
  • Utilize Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit qualified candidates.

Job responsibilities pertaining to corporate benefits include:

  • Assist in administration of the corporation's benefit programs which include group insurance for health, disability, life, AD&D benefits, pension programs, 401(k) plans, and workers' compensation.
  • Assist where necessary in administration of claims pertaining to corporation's benefit programs.
  • Monitor processing of employee benefit claims.
  • Serve as corporate contact person for the divisions regarding fringe benefit questions.
  • Maintain records of employee enrollment in fringe benefit programs.
  • Assist in preparation and distribution of employee communications regarding benefit programs.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of Summary Plan Descriptions.
  • Assist with monthly benefits billing, benefits accounting and reconciliation.
  • Prepare appropriate government reports and documents.
  • Serve as contact person with outside benefits administration firms.
  • Assist in evaluating services, coverage and options available through insurance and investment companies to determine programs best meeting needs of the corporation.

Required Education

  • 3-5 years of related business experience in sourcing and recruiting senior-level professionals and in benefits administration
  • 4 Year degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related area of expertise is a plus

  • Ability to take initiative and think outside the box to further talent recruitment potential
  • Knowledge and understanding of executive recruiting techniques, recruitment plan development, sourcing methods and executive compensation strategies
  • Experience using Internet outlets as a recruiting tool (social media, job boards/posting sites, etc.)
