Job DescriptionCompany Description
The duties of this position are to fully maintain the company's late model fleet of timber trucks and trailers. The applicant must have a class 8 CDL, be certified in brake work and be able to perform all range repairs and maintenance to keep the fleet safe efficient and legal. This includes but not limited to engine rebuilding, transmission and clutch repair, electronic diagnostics, a/c work, dash cam installation and service, tires, brakes, lights, wiring etc. Applicant must be able to keep up to date repair and maintenance records to stay DOT compliant.
SFS Corporation is a timber and logging company in Evergreen Alabama, started in the year 2000. The company has a very well equipped facility with nearly 30,000 square feet under roof with many specialty features. A specialized drive over pit and three 20 ton bridge cranes spanning the entire shop to help make large projects manageable. A very large array of heavy duty specialty tools, pullers, and supplies are on site. SFS has 20 employees currently along with sub contract logging companies working along side SFS.
