Do you have what it takes? There are some physical requirements, like standing for long periods, lifting, bending, stooping and reaching. We keep our stores clean inside and out, so you will be working with cleaning chemicals. You will have to clean the kitchen, sweep, mop and pick up trash.

About the job:

This position is responsible for the timely preparation and exhibition of a fresh quality product. Provides strong customer service qualities to accommodate our customers according to Beck’s standards. A clean and organized work area is a must.

Primary Duties:

• Prep assigned items
• Prepare all food items following standard recipes and procedures
• Detects and ensures disposal of spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment, and/or other unusual conditions
• Provides services to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Assures menu items are prepared in sufficient quantities to satisfy volumes and not wasteful
• Maintain cooking line in a clean, sanitary and safe manner
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards (wash hands after using restroom, etc.)
• Assist in an entire team effort
• Performs other duties as directed

Reports to: Kitchen Manager and/or Store Manager

Physical Requirements:

• Stands during entire shift
• Frequently reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours, carries and pushes
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including stock and register area
• Ability to operate all equipment
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
• Lifts up to 25 lbs
