Scheduling position for office located in Petal, MS
The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining schedules for a quickly growing non-medical home care company. This is a part time position with on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications:
-H.S. Diploma or GED, some college or two years related experience and/or training preferred.
-Experience in home care or knowledge of the health care industry preferred.
-Must be proficient in creative problem solving.
-Requires proficiency in computer skills.
-Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
-Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
-Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
-Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills and customer service techniques.
-Must perform and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
-Creates and maintains care schedule.
-Schedules shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to client’s needs.
-Answers the telephone in a friendly professional manner.
-Enters, maintains, and corrects client and employee data into the computer.
-Understands and adheres to established FirstLight Home Care policies and procedures.
-Takes calls after hours and weekends on a rotating basis to handle emergencies, scheduling issues, and client referrals and intakes.
