Aqua-Tots Swim Schools has been voted one of the "best places to work" according to Business Journal and has been providing superior swim instruction for children ages 4 months - 12 years of age since 1991.
Aqua-Tots Water Safety Instructor (AT-WSI) Position Objective: Create a safe and fun environment for children and families to enjoy. This is accomplished by providing exceptional customer service during swim lessons! Partner with General Manager, Aquatic Manager and Aquatic Staff on all aquatic daily operations thereby ensuring company core values, customer satisfaction and revenue increase.

SHIFTS: This position is part-time and includes work on Saturdays. Shifts are typically from 8:15am 12:00pm or 3:15pm 8:00pm.

AT-WSI Duties:

  • Uphold our Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Core Values
  • Enthusiastically teach swim lessons in accordance with AT curriculum
  • Be in uniform (Staff shirt) when entering any AT facility or location
  • Check pool chemicals and maintain chemical log
  • Set up teaching areas
  • Clean and maintain pool areas before and after each shift
  • Understand and uphold AT fecal contamination policies
  • Be knowledgeable in regards to parent questions regarding progression and AT curriculum
  • Fill out and return Aqua Cards to correct place in bin after lessons
  • Attend staff meetings and regular in-service training

All offers of employment are contingent on completion of training in our curriculum as per the Aqua-Tots Training Agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, a certification in CPR and First Aid.
