About this job
- Set up, monitors, and adjusts machines including mixer, oven, and proofer in accordance with fluctuating environment, ingredients, and demands.
- Weigh dough ball to ensure consistency.
- Mix dry and wet ingredients together to create dough (read recipe, place ingredients in mixer manually.)
- Load ingredients into mixing machine.
- Monitor to ensure dough ball consistency and coats flow with oil.
- Monitor flow of product entering oven, recognize any imperfections or problems and takes immediate action to make corrections.
- Ensure pans are turned properly in the proofer and oven.
- Provide production system with appropriate type and number of pans for current product.
- Load, unload and operate the equipment and adjust machines to maintain constant workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area.
- Adhere to and enforces food safety.
- Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
