Auto Body Collision – Production Manager Requirements:

  • As Production Manager your role is not just to repair cars, but to inspire your team! 
  • Is experienced in the industry and understands all elements of the repair process
  • 2-5+ years of body shop experience including Body, Paint, Estimating, or Management
  • Must be comfortable working in a high-volume collision shop environment
  • Excellent people, teamwork and customer service skills
  • The ideal candidate would be interested in career advancement including multi-unit operations management

Auto Body Collision – Production Manager Daily Duties:

  • Measures quality standards by inspecting both in process repairs and pre-delivered repairs
  • Ensures they have the right team in place and continually looking for top talent
  • Manage the workflow and activities of staff to ensure that all vehicles are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with established quality standards
  • Monitor process and work with staff to ensure SOP’s are adhered to
  • Ensure employees have proper equipment and are properly trained in its use
  • Assist in counseling and disciplining employees as necessary, monitoring and evaluating employee job performance, and conducting performance appraisals
  • Monitor and manage the use of supplies, materials and equipment to control costs
  • Ensuring the Center is operated within all relevant legal, regulatory, and company requirements
