A job as a Computer POS and Network Technician is the perfect entry level opportunity for an energetic, inquisitive, eager learner who has a can-do attitude and is looking to expand his/her IT skills and looking for on the job training.
Responsibilities:
• Provide computer troubleshooting support
• Build or configure new hardware
• Systems and network troubleshooting
• Network installations
• Install and update computer software packages
• Maintenance of computer networks
Desired Skills:
• Basic Windows knowledge
• High school diploma required
• Self-directed and able to work independently
• Friendly and courteous at all times
• Pays attention to detail
• Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills are essential
• Use consistent good judgment
• Ability to read, understands, and follow oral and written instruction
• Ability to explain technology in an easily understood manner
