About this job
We have a part time opening for a Mechanic Assistant.
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is willing and ready to learn a trade that that can be used to build a future with.
Our ideal candidate would be someone who has slight mechanical knowledge and/or experience, is a fast learner and willing to work hard. He/She should be detail oriented, have decent communication skills and be polite and respectful. Having your own tools is recommended, but not required.
Keep in mind that this position is labor intensive and candidate should be able to lift 50-75 lbs.

Responsibilites include:
- Operate in a shop where an inventory of spare parts and supplies are maintained.
- Operate safely and maintain shop in a clean, orderly manner.
- Pulling small engine machines for repair.
- Learning and taking directions from Shop Manager.
