The Meat Cutter will Trim and customize portions of meat products using knives, band saws or other meat production equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Trim and customizes portions of high-quality meats
• Count and stack on tray portions per customer and company specifications.
• Label portion with supplied number product labels.
• Set up cutting room as required.
• Keep cutting room and surrounding area clean and sanitized using GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Qualifications:

• Are you able to work continually in a refrigerated environment of 35-45 degrees?
• Do you have 1 year of Experience or Completed an Apprenticeship? Clarify this further.
• Summarize any related experience, knowledge, skills/abilities that may qualify you as being able to perform job-related functions/qualifications of this position.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Skilled as a specialty meat cutter using knives required; minimum (1) year experience as a meat cutter.
• Experience with band saws, laser portion machinery or other meat production equipment

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
