Preschool Assistant Teacher

Our Spanish immersion school is growing and we are looking for :

Full Time Preschool Floater/Assistant Teacher (ages 1 to 5) Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist Lead Teacher with classroom needs

- Prepare snacks

- Organize classroom

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for children at all times

- Supervise outside time (Twice a day, morning and afternoon)

- Assisting children with toilet needs

- Help teacher prepare activities for the day

- Attend staff meetings (once a month - 2 hours)

- Communication and writing skills

- Be able to use iPad app for daily updates

- Be familiar with Early Achievers

- Negative TB Test

- COVID vaccine REQUIRED

- STARS ID and MERIT background check

- Be willing to take trainings such as CPR, Bloodborne, Food Handler and Sleep Safety (needs to be completed within 3 months of employment).

-Credits in ECE or willing to take ECE credit courses.

-Minimum salary starts at $18.50 per hour with at least 1 year of experience working in a preschool setting and trainings/certificates.
