Floor Manager - Full-time

Once Upon A Child is a locally owned retail store that buys and sells new and gently
used kids clothing, shoes, toys, books, furniture, baby equipment and more. We offer

energetic, self-motivated, ambitious individuals to join our team. This is a fast- paced
business and previous management experience in a busy Customer service
environment is required.

The Floor Manager will take the lead in daily activities such as managing inventory,
managing the flow of inventory to the sales floor and back stocking inventory. The Floor
Manager will also oversee the successful merchandising of the sales floor. Other
responsibilities will include loss prevention and promoting a high level of Customer
Service.

• Stocking the Sales Floor
• Managing and tracking Backstock
• Assist with staff training, and development
• Merchandising of Sales Floor
• Strong leadership skills
• Prior Inventory Management and Merchandising
• Organizational skills
• Proven Customer service skills and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate and able to operate computerized sales terminals
• Performs effectively and safely in an environment where there is constant change
• Capable of making quick and appropriate decisions to meet store needs
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods
• Lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted
• Bending, rotating, and reaching in a retail environment.

Full-Time position

Hourly wage depending on experience.
