Cafe Manager

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is looking for a full-time Cafe Manager with experience supervising employees and working in the food and beverage industry.  We serve breakfast all day, lunch and dinner (sandwiches, flatbreads, wraps, bowls, etc.) as well as delicious smoothies.  Brand is franchised with over 500 locations in the US.  Owner has 8 cafes in Orange County.  Always looking for great experienced people to join the team.

Hours: Flexible schedule required. This is a full time position - 40 hours / week required.

Duties: 

• Lead a team: motivate, coach and strengthen Crew Members
• Monitor and manage store staffing levels to maintain store operational requirements
• Interview, recruit and evaluate team
• Ensure Company food and operational safety procedures are followed by staff members
• Resolve customer concerns
• Manage inventory and food cost weekly
• Counting registers and controlling P&L

Qualification Requirements:

• Knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operation and customer service techniques
• 2+ years of retail or restaurant experience managing a store or unit independently 
• Strong operational skills in a customer service environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
