Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Opportunity

Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Quail Run Behavioral Health.

The Behavioral Heath Technician functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from adolescents through geriatrics depending on which unit worked. BHT’S work under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

We are currently hiring for opportunities on our geriatric and adolescent units, Overnight shift, 8 hour shifts, 1030p-7a.

Qualifications

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Job Requirements:

  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card or the ability to obtain.
  • Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 12-65yrs+. **If working with the geriatric population, C.N.A. licensure and/or previous med/surge experience a plus.
