SKY is current searching for a Finishing Technician. The Finishing Technician will assist in the fabrication and distribution of books, catalogs, and other related product. Assists in the transfer of material on and off a stitcher / binder / collator machine.

· Straighten and align paper signatures
· Load feeder pockets with signatures
· Inspect & stack final product
· Consumption/assignment of all load flags at end of job
· Routing, staging, and documenting of product moved from machine
· Follow departmental operating procedures consistently
· Other tasks as requested by supervisor, department, or management
· Able to transfer completed bundles of product (10-30 lbs.) off machine conveyor and stack onto pallets.
· Able to take stacks of loose signatures (5 - 20 lbs.) off a pallet of up to 48" in height and transfer to table top work surface 42" and then place in a collator hopper
· Ability to transfer, place, lift and/or stack various pallets, trays, or Gaylords as needed.
· Ability to push, pull, and move bundle clamp to placed logged product onto hopper loader/stream feeders.
· Able to stand 12 hrs./day for 3 to 4 days per week with overtime as per production schedule.
· Able to work overtime on a needed basis
