Position Purpose
The Community Outreach Coordinators primary responsibilities are to build strategic relationships, plan and manage a variety of outreach activities, and organizes and executes all local community/marketing events.

Position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  1.  Create and implement outreach plans including planning and coordination of activities.
  2.   Work with manager to develop strategies to recruit new clients and students through community events.
  3.  Attend relevant events in the community and take an active role in participating in the events as well as assist with the organization and execution of company tasks at the events including scheduling and organizing event agenda.  
  4.  Articulate expectations, display model behavior, maintain open lines of commination and be clear about roles and objectives of volunteers at events.
  5.  Monitor progress and evaluate performance to provide weekly feedback about all events attended in the previous week for manager’s review.  Assist in design of performance objectives, implement and monitor program to meet desired outcomes.
  6.    Schedule and conduct calls to local businesses for owners to generate additional outreach events nationwide as needed.
  7.   Maintain relationships with collaborative partners and cultivate new ones
  8.  Wearing a Statue of Liberty costume or other similar clothing
  9.  All other duties, as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • 2+ years of customer service experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Position requires working outdoors frequently, standing for long periods of time, and walking/moving
