This full time Intake Specialist role is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus, provided you successfully complete all pre-employment requirements subject to the terms and conditions of the offer.  Former associates of six months are not eligible

Work Schedule: Full-time PM shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm

w/ rotating weekends

What You Will Do:

As the Intake Specialist, you will conduct interviews and behavioral health assessments for potential patient admissions that are being admitted to ER.

  • Provide admissions and intake services to patients and potential patients.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.
  • Admit patients to the hospital and register outpatients with appropriate physician orders or transfers to another facility.
  • Document calls and related admission information.
  • Review all paperwork accompanying patients to ensure adherence with hospital and regulatory policies.
  • May staff a crisis hotline.
What You Will Need:

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Additional Preferences:

Education:

 

MS degree in Pyschology or Social Work is highly preferred
