Estimator-Manufacturing Support

Estimator/Account Manager

You will be responsible for maintaining and developing long-term relationships with your assigned customers. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products and services according to customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers. Get answers for customers regarding the company, capabilities and answers for co-workers regarding customer information.·
• Work and ensure that the estimates support profitability goals.
• Create routers and bills of material as needed for quotes and update, if needed, when work awarded.
• Reverse engineer quote requests as required.
• Work with purchasing personnel or personally procure (within procurement policy) materials to support the production process.
• Work with production and/or engineering support to help get parts/products made in a timely manner.
• Follow-up on the timely and successful delivery of our products and services according to customer needs and objectives. Alert co-workers and management if the company is falling behind on commitments.
• Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly goals and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
• Track key account metrics.
• Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
• Pitch in as needed and perform duties normally outside the scope of your job to support short term needs within the company.

Requirements

• Proven account management or other relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Good personal computer skills including spreadsheets and word processors.
• 20% local and/or regional travel. No overnight requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
• Excellent listening skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Solid user of Microsoft Office applications.
• 2 or 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
