Warehouse Associate (Part Time)

Angie’s Wholesale Groceries, Inc. is a distributor of Italian food products. We are looking for a part-time dedicated, hardworking, responsible Warehouse Associate for our growing company in South El Monte. We need someone who has excellent people skills and can make a connection with our customers, while gathering the necessary information for their orders. The individual applying for this position must be flexible, self-motivated, and have a professional attitude.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 1 year warehouse experience. Food service distribution sales and/or knowledge in the market preferred. This job requires vigorous lifting and puling for a good portion of the day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with shipping, receiving and return of orders.
• Checking in merchandise
• Matching purchase orders to sales orders
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks daily with the correct products
• Process customer orders and set up correct items for orders
• Staging customer orders from stock
• Assist in counting of physical inventory

Qualifications:

• Ability to regularly lift and move heavy objects 
• Ability to follow directions
• Must have good customer service skills
• Ability to work well with others and independently
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
