KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Data Analysis to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Document data interfaces and data mappings, analyze and interpret data and conduct data sourcing activities
  • Develop business and technical requirement documents; design and execute Data Quality checks
  • Aid with project management and tracking; meet regularly with PMs and developers to create test plans, project plans, implementation plans and track project through SDLC life cycle
  • Work with developers to assure specifications are understood and followed
  • Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing; provide post-production support for both maintenance and enhancement solution
  • Assist project manager in creating effective and achievable project plans, management of the team’s execution of project tasks and secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the project stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience with data including data sourcing, data analysis and data integration
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Strong SQL skills to query SQL databases; experience with data analysis tools like Alteryx is a plus; familiarity with data analysis tools like Alteryx is preferred
  • Data Warehouse or Business Intelligence experience including experience with data sourcing, data integration and data quality projects; experience with sourcing from and into Big Data stores like Hadoop is a plus
  • Solid verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for Visa sponsorship now or in the future
