The RIS Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) is the central focus for concept development, trade studies, systems architecture development, and systems integration and test activities for customized engineering services and products. We develop solutions to solve customer needs as well as plan future capabilities and technology roadmaps.
As a DevOps systems engineer on our team, you’ll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll support efforts to incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), software integration, and cloud architecture while developing software that will improve national security and support the SIGINT community.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $12K for a candidate with a current TS/SCI with that can be verified and hired at RIS.

Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies
- 1+ years of experience with DevOps pipeline tools and technologies, including Docker, Chef, Jenkins, Ansible, and Kubernetes
- Experience in systems engineering or information technology
- Experience with command line in Linux or UNIX
- Enthusiastic & energetic performer able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, & high visibility environment
- Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal oversight
- Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months
- Current active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph
Desired Skills:
- Experience with systems administration in Windows and Linux systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- AWS Associate Certification
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM Degree Program with 6+ years’ of relevant experience - OR
- Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM Degree Program with 4+ years’ of relevant experience
