The Assistant Teacher supports the Teacher and/or Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for children, supervises the class when the Lead is out of the room, helps with meals, safety and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room and Center. 

Job Responsibilites:

  • Must be at least 18 years old 
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • DE Eligibility letter and background check clearance
  • CDA, Associate or higher education in ECE, Child Studies or a related field preferred
  • Must be flexible with schedule and in some positions be able to stay until 6 pm
