Responsibilities/Qualifications

This full-time, remote based, Pet Depot Customer Service Representative (Neighbor Service Coordinator) will be responsible for assisting stores (our internal customers) with Pet Supplies Plus distribution center deliveries. This position will be responsible for responding to, disseminating, and resolving incoming communication from stores regarding shipments. The Customer Service Representative will also be responsible for working closely with the Operations Support Services team and other Pet Supplies Plus departments as needed.

The Pet DepotCustomer Service Representative key responsibilities include:
  • Resolving store requests or inquiries concerning their Pet Depot deliveries, including credits, schedules, transportation, and general questions.
  • Working in our ticketing system to ensure requests are being answered within 48 hours.
  • Advising stores on current policies regarding deliveries, reporting discrepancies, and other processes as needed.
  • Helping our Supply Chain team with quick turnaround of order updates and communications.
  • Working with Neighbor Services to address customer inquiries as needed and as required.
  • Completing other work as required by the Store Operations team.
PAWsome Pet Depot Customer Service Representative candidates will have:
  • A High school diploma; degree preferred.
  • Customer Service experience and knowledge of a ticketing system preferred.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively (through oral and written communication) with internal and external customers with the highest degree of professionalism, clarity, and diplomacy while being firm as the situation necessitates.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • A strong desire to work in a team-focused environment to provide the best service possible.
  • Ability to handle inquiries, and exercise good judgment in working with internal and external customers and apply critical thinking skills to solve problems.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in data entry.
  • Solid MS Office products skills.
  • The ability to work 40 hours per week including weekends with the ability to work remotely.
