Direct Sales Representative

CaptionCall is looking for a caring, customer service-oriented Direct Sales Representative with a passion for helping people with hearing loss communicate with the world! This position will be responsible for promoting the CaptionCall service by demonstrating the product door-to-door and in many other settings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Generate leads by educating and demonstrating the CaptionCall phone and service to eligible Hard of Hearing Individuals

· Promote CaptionCall's service by going door-to-door

· Attend and present CaptionCall at various events as assigned

· Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required

· Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic

· Ability to meet or exceed expectations and maintain established goals set forth by department management

· Provide excellent customer service

· Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

· Ability to drive and travel via air as needed

· Must be able to comfortably and clearly present to large and small groups

· Must be able to adapt to various sales situations and environments

· Must be reliable, organized, and punctual

· Must be able to work independently and for long periods of time

· Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

Experience/Education/Certifications

· Door-to-door or similar sales experience

· Experience working with senior citizens is a plus

· Basic computer knowledge and experience

· High school diploma or equivalent

Other General Requirements/Additional Notes

· Must be a person of integrity that will follow all company policies and regulatory requirements.

· Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and some overtime when necessary

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

· Daily driving is required. Must have a reliable, licensed, and insured vehicle available at all times

· Possess and maintain a valid driver license and sustain a good driving record

· Must have a PC (not a mac) and a high-speed Internet connection to perform essential job duties

· Must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time as needed

· Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments

· Direct Sales Rep has access to highly confidential, sensitive information relating to the employees of CaptionCall. It is essential that applicant possess the requisite integrity to maintain the information in the strictest confidence.

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Own a personal vehicle
• Valid auto liability insurance
• 1+ year of experience in the sales & marketing industry
