"The role of the General Manager is one of the most important roles in the company as you support and oversee everything that goes on within the four walls of your store. Your job is to ensure your store is operating within Five Star Pizza Co, Inc and Domino’s Corporate standards at all times. Your focus should be on training, mentoring, developing and inspiring your teams while running a profitable store.


Areas of Focus


60% People & Talent Development
• Ensures that store is completely staffed and ready to give exceptional service to customers
• Make fast, accurate and consistent products while complying with all portion sizes, recipes, and baking procedures
• Demonstrate and ensure operational excellence through training and mentoring your assistant mangers and crew
• Expert in preparation of Domino’s product specifications and guidelines
o Cut tests, new product rollouts, National Training Weeks, etc.
• Expert in training and executing Five Star Pizza Co, Inc and Domino’s Corporate standards
• Ensure your store is in compliance with all applicable laws including but not limited to food safety, premises safety and equal opportunity
• Provide specific feedback and coaching on performance, areas of improvement and growth path
• Manage anywhere from 3 to 30 employees during your scheduled shift
• Document performance plans for your team based upon your store’s operational goals
• Assist in developing strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize all aspects of operations
• Work with marketing manager to plan tailored ways to increase sales within specific markets and optimize food and labor costs to meet targets
• Hold your team accountable when they don’t meet standards or requirements of job duties
30% Systems
• Execution of all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems
• Increases profitability through implementing procedures to reduce costs, increase productivity and efficiencies and promote sales
• Ensures you are maintaining a work environment that promotes food and team safety
• Drives sales, increase customer loyalty, and reduces operating costs
• Identify key business issues with individual stores affecting performance and influence decisions, align resources, take immediate action, and hold others accountable to commitments
• Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Alerts management of cost and labor over runs
• Makes recommendations and implements solutions to problems
• Partners with HR in any investigations that arise in the area and work with HR to finalize and make decisions on any action to be taken
• Be available to work open schedule as needed and be able to work long hours, holidays, during inclement weather and weekends
• Ability to operate, clean and maintain all store facilities and equipment
• Ensures all stores food and beverage orders are placed timely and accurately for projected sales
• Conducts routine equipment audits, operational audits, driver safety audits, assistant manager meetings, and crew meetings

10% Accountability


• Responsible for all store operations
• Review schedules weekly to ensure stores are setup with the appropriate coverage to provide great service without wasting labor
• Follows up and evaluates the previous weeks numbers with assistant managers – provides remedial training and follow-up action plans as necessary
• Ensure all team members are utilizing all systems that have been put in place correctly
• Handles customer complaints and WOWs the customer

QUALIFICATIONS:


• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have 2-5 years of general manager experience in order to be considered for this position
• Be able to pass MVR and have a safe driving record
• Ability to read and understand financial statements
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively and professionally provide guidance and coaching to store TM’s
• Ability to plan and conduct effective meetings
• Thorough understanding of Domino’s Pizza Standards, Policies & Procedures"
