About this job

The Enterprise Network Architect will be responsible for designing computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), internet, intranet, cloud, data center and other communications systems. 

The Enterprise Network Architect will work in the Network Services group and across several business and technology organizations:

  • Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework.

  • Develop technology roadmaps.

  • Design and Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects.

  • Design, test, and inspect data communications systems.

  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.

  • Analyze, engineer, and execute software functions.

  • Manage technology vendors.

  • Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors.

  • Determine product direction.

  • Write functional requirements/specifications documents.

  • Assess vendor development/test strategies.

  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.

  • Solve complex problems with many variables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ Years of Networking experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field of study (Master’s Degree preferred)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to organize and facilitate planning and demonstrations

  • Ability to track, manage, and ensure project tasks are completed in a timely manner

  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects

  • Working Technical Knowledge in the following: Network Automation, Network Segmentation, Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure), Data Center Resiliency

  • CCIE, CCDE preferred
