Photographer * Focused on delivering unsurpassed services in support of law enforcement and homeland security, FSA Federal, a rapidly growing joint venture owned by trusted solutions providers SAIC and AMENTUM, has a contingency opening for a Photographer in support of the FBI Laboratory Division mission to process and examine forensic materials submitted to respective units at the Quantico, Virginia and Huntsville, Alabama locations. The position will support the FBI's role regarding forensic examination and evidence handling consistent with FBI Laboratory and Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC) policies and procedures. The Photographer shall conduct activities in support of program's objectives.
* The Photographer performs both object photography and. photographers recognize developed and preserve them in a manner to ensure that the images are correctly captured and retrievable. The candidate shall provide, but not be limited to, the following services:
* Process images using advanced imaging software, prepare detailed notes of work, and preserve images on non-rewritable media.
* Support activities, functions, or duties, as defined in future TOs.
* Research, develop, and author whitepapers and information papers, as required. Requirements * Associate's degree in photography with at least two (2) years of photographic experience or a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) / B.S. degree in photography.
* Experience: five (5) years of experience in photographic documentation of evidence.
* Skills: In depth knowledge of Photoshop and photography, experience working with macro lenses, organizational skills and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Job requires the ability to photograph a variety of subject matters from crime scene to event imaging. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others required. This is a detail-oriented position, which requires the need to stay focused and at times prioritize many jobs.
