Position Lead Hyper-V System Administrator Location Providence, RI Duration Full-Time Salary Negotiable depending on experience About the Position Responsible for maintenance of Hyper-V infrastructure and systems software, assuring that all security, auditing, and restartrecovery functions are properly operating. Support the migration of existing virtualization platforms to Hyper-V. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. This position will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues in our dev, test and production environments. Evaluate vendor-supplied software and make buybuild recommendations. Resolve particularly complex or critical technical problems. Function as a project manager as required. Provide 24X7 on-call support. Currently in a migration from ESx Vmware to HyperV Migrating 60-70 of infrastructure Requirements Experience doing migration from ESx Vmware to HyperV Medium to Enterprise level experience with a migration Powershell experience Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience 5 years of related IT experience including 3 years of Hyper-V technology experience EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
