Sr. Fullstack Engineer – Backend focused
Looking for a Sr. Fullstack Engineer that is Backend focused. A solid Backend engineer is acceptable as well but it’s preferred to have a backend focused full stack engineer. This engineer is going to work across multiple teams to develop production quality Cloud SW which is part of a larger HW/SW solution. This persons experience should allow you to work across the entire stack, helping the team design & implement a cutting edge analytics product.
Scope:
• Design & implement robust, production level SW in order to make complex data accessible through the Web & APIs.
• Build analytical/geospatial products that render & cluster 100,000+ points in a browser.
• Implement containerize data pipelines in order to transform geospatial & sensor data.
• Work hands on across the entire SW stack comfortably with an emphasis on backend design, coding and implementation.
Required:
• 4-7 years of full stack experience focused on backend. (backend engineering is also acceptable).
• Java experience. (Object oriented programming is a must)
• SQL experience.
• Experience with backend technologies: Protocol Buffers, Kubernetes/Docker, Git, Google Cloud, gRPC, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud DataFlow
• Design and implement web apps with modern frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing event driven data pipelines.
• Experience working in a fast paced startup like environment. This person must be comfortable driving things through completion with minimal hand holding.
Pluses:
• Abilities with frontend technologies: Angular, gRPC-web, TypeScript
• Design customer facing APIs.
