Job Purpose:
CPA firm looking for a Senior Auditor with 2-3 years of public accounting experience.
Duties:
* Enhances auditing staff accomplishments and competence by planning audit ; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
* Ensures client compliance with established internal control related to Federal and State funds, establishing procedures to examine records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
* Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.
* Appraises adequacy of internal control systems by completing audit questionnaires.
* Updating audit programs and questionnaires; recommending new policies and procedures.
* Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report; discussing findings with auditees.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; and reviewing professional publications.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Working to obtain CPA certification.
