E-Commerce Photo/Listing Associate - FT & PT/Temporary - Garden of the Gods Road

Goodwill of Colorado has an exciting opportunity to learn skills in the growing E-Commerce industry! This is 30 to 90 day temporary position taking photographs and writing listings for our on-line auction group. Strong typing skills are a must and ability to research items on-line are required! Photographs will be taken with a tablet. Knowledge of antiques, art, collectibles, jewelry, electronics, etc. are not required but are a plus! If you are someone with a clerical background or someone who has listed your own items for sale on-line before, this may be the job for you!!

Various schedules are available. Shifts could start as early 7 am and go as late as 8:30 pm Monday through Friday and start as early as 7 am and go as late as 3:30 pm Saturdays and Sundays. Make sure you tell us about your availability!

Positions pay $13.25 and areeligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.

OBJECTIVE:

The E-Commerce Associate will work in a fast paced production type of environment and will be responsible for listing quality high-end products, taking quality photos of products to be used in listings and posting them on Shopgoodwill.com, our E-Commerce website. Duties will include accurately describing each item, posting pictures, and adhering to daily goals and quotas. Daily interaction with customers and co-workers will require the E-Commerce Associate to provide excellent customer service displaying an “Attitude of Gratitude” in order to support the mission of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Photograph quality, high-end donated items ensuring quality photos that include: sets/groupings, object design, identify markings, blemishes/wear n’ tear, and other product detail. • List products onto our E-Commerce auction system, identifying and authenticating items as necessary to ensure accurate descriptions and professional listings by checking spelling and using good grammar. • Follow Companies procedures and policies for handling the donations by shelving inventory to ensure that items are easily located. • Provide excellent Customer Service with an “Attitude of Gratitude” while answering customer’s questions and concerns over electronic means. • Ensure that customer questions and concerns are answered in a timely and effective manner. • Provide a clean and organized work area to promote a safe environment for employees and customers. • Cross-train in other E-Commerce areas and act as a back-up for other areas as required. • Perform all other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • One year photography experience (professional or personal) preferred. • Previous experience with product/merchandise photography is desired. • One year retail, auction or administrative experience is helpful. • Able to effectively use Internet Search Engines, Microsoft Office and other software platforms. • Able to identify and describe high-end merchandise, including but not limited to: antiques, collectibles, artwork, designer brand names, jewelry, etc. is preferred. • Able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff and peers through verbal and electronic means. • Able to effectively write and proofread item descriptions for clarity, spelling and grammar • Able to withstand prolonged sitting, reaching and bending up to 8 hours per day. • Able to work occasional overtime, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
