Responsibilities

As Oracle eBS Technical lead, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of a large project in an Agile environment. Provide planning, estimation, scheduling, prioritization and coordination of technical activities related to system development with multiple stakeholders. Ensure system alignment to Enterprise Architecture policies and best practices; ensure that process methodologies are followed in system development. Accountable to business and technology management for end-to-end application scoping, planning, development and delivery that meets and exceeds quality standards. Our professionals help our clients transform their business processes, improve internal controls, improve efficiency of operations, increase transparency and performance management, and to comply with Federal laws and regulations. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Our professionals need to integrate IT solution systems for the business with existing client systems. Oversee creation and approval of technical documentation including the Solution Definition document and Technical Design document; ensure documentation is aligned to the Functional Requirements and uses document templates that meet SDLC standards


Qualifications

The successful candidate will have proven experience supporting Oracle Federal Financials implementation for federal agencies.

The candidate will provide oversight and be accountable for quality of services and deliverables.

Candidate will also provide process improvement recommendations and support implementation into the financial system.


• Manage day to day technical challenges and communicate to project manager any risks or issues associated with the development activities
• Clearly communicate Expectations, Roles and Responsibilities to team members and hold them accountable to meet the expectations
• Ability to lead the team with real time integrations and deriving architecture that suits Oracle Federal Financial P2P modules
• Experience working in Oracle Managed Cloud Services (OMCS) environment is a plus.
• Mentor and guide other team members, support the team in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to members of various other teams.
• Ability to offer insights based on experience and through functional business process analysis, supporting budget and financial management initiatives within the federal civilian sector
• Precise attention to detail with highly tuned problem-solving skills, including issue debugging, analysis, and resolution
• Experience with development of custom Interfaces, Extracts, Utilities, and Reports
• Desire for perpetual learning and evolution Demonstrates proven thorough knowledge and success, as both an individual contributor and team member, with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; and, managing engagements, including preparing concise, accurate documents and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues
• Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle SOA implementations
• Client-facing experience in a consulting environment among senior and mid-level to senior leadership

• Professional Certification (Oracle, PMP) preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills)
• Understanding of functions affecting budget and financial data (e.g., Prompt Pay Act, Supplier Maintenance, Payment Methods, Reporting)
• Understanding of funding and financial accounting structures (e.g., Funds, cost types, Object Class)
• Experience and comfort with MS Excel and other MS Office products
• Aggregate and synthesize data from authoritative systems into metrics and analytics
• Ability to quickly comprehend complexity and convey findings in concise, well-written narratives


Degree


Holds a four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
