BILLING / Back Office – OPTHALMOLOGY OFFICE – Fremont, CA We have a fulltime opening for an experienced Back Office and insurance specialist for our Ophthalmology Practice in Fremont, CA. Must be hard-working professional with experience in the Optometric/Ophthalmic and/or Medical/Vision field. Responsibilities:

• Fitting and Dispensing Glasses and Contact Lenses
• Frame Repair and Adjustments
• Pre-testing (including Lens Measurements, Visual Fields, IOP, Color/Stereo Tests, Taking Retinal Photos)
• Medical and Vision Billing and Reconciling Insurances
• Entering Medical Histories and Medical Information into EMR System
• General front desk duties such as answering phones, scheduling, checking patients in and out.
• Other Skills:
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Organizational, computer, math, and communication skills.
• The ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail in a professional environment
• Bilingual is a plus
• Experience in Compulink is a plus
• Required Experience/Education:
• AA Degree Minimum
• Minimum 2 to 5+ years of experience in the Medical Office setting
