Applications Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client in search of an Applications Engineer in Pleasanton, CA. Key Tasks Automate operation, installation and monitoring of search ecosystem components Execute performance tuning activities, develop monitoring processes, and provide performance recommendations for Linux environment Performance optimization, scheduling, and support around all system components including after hour support REQUIREMENTS 5+ years professional DevOps experience, especially PaaS or SaaS Experience operating JVM-based applications at scale (garbage collection analysis, heap tuning, etc.) Experience with large-scale distributed systems management maintain hundreds to thousands of instances across multiple cloud environments Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
