JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The ideal candidate for this position will meet all of the requirements of the position and can work with a team in an agile environment. This is a full-time, salaried position in Washington, D.C. supporting the Federal Government. You must be able to pass a Public Trust background check as required by the Federal client. You must also have excellent oral and written communications skills along with the following Work cross-functionally and collaboratively to develop an application using the .NET stack Create and maintain applications using ASP.NET, Oracle and RESTful services Build back-end application code that manipulates content, and interacts with other systems, services and APIs Address defects and collaboratively work with functional and technical teams to integrate applications Work in a fast-paced, agile environment consisting of a cross-functional team designing and implementing systems from the web-based user interface front-end through the back-end SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of Software development experience 6+ years of C, ASP.NET and .NET development experience 5+ years of RESTful web services experience Experience with .NET Core Experience with Visual Studio Ultimate 20172019+, TFS and Git Experience building and maintaining RESTful services and WCF Containerization experience on Windows servers with Docker and Kubernetes Solid knowledge of Scrum Agile development methodology Strong collaboration and communication skills Experience with mentoring more junior developers on the team Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Front-end development experience with Angular v6 or higher preferred Toad or SQL Developer and SharePoint 2013+ using Visual Studio LINQ, Oracle PLSQL and T-SQL ORACLE Commerce Server Search Engine Popular design patterns, including Repository, Singleton, Factory Federal Government experience as a contractor EDUCATION Undergraduate Degree (in in computer science, engineering or related field) highly desired but can be substituted with 2 additional years of experience OTHER REQUIREMENTS Positions are remote with monthly meetings onsite in Washington, DC.
