PC Technician

For the short-term temporary PC Technician role, you will be positioned in the Milford, Connecticut, area. Your responsibilities - Take down, box and ship equipment that is outdated - Manage equipment inventory, collaborating on purchases as needed - Take down, box, move and set upinstall on site - Install and repair printers, troubleshooting problems as needed - Provide frequent and effective communication with ticket submitters - Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish PCs, laptops, monitors, server, and other computer hardware - Collaborate to test functionality and provide end user support - Manage imaging and preparation for new computers - Own and execute technology implementation projects - Document all daily data communication transactions, issues and solutions or installations - Comply with company quality standards to ensure sound electronic data records - Arrange for repairs through the appropriate vendors - Complete PC-to-PC data transfers and troubleshoot softwarehardware and breakfix Requirements - A CompTIA A+ certification is a requisite for the position - 1 - 3 years of experience supporting hardware and software for PC and Mac, and knowledge of TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN - Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets - An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is desired - PC skills experience - Comprehensive knowledge of PC Hardware - PC desktopworkstations experience - Strong problem-solving skills - Be detailed, flexible, and organized - Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
