FinOps Manager

Major Responsibilities bull Implement and manage cloud cost management tool for AWS, Azure, Hyland, and other cloud services bull Develop cloud financial controls and guardrails bull Monitor cloud consumption in various accounts and projects to determine areas for resource efficiency bull Implement cost and control dashboards and alerting (cost, usage, compliance, etc.), in consultation with appropriate resources bull Work with the development, project and engineering teams to understand current systems and costs and make recommendations for usage and fiscal improvements bull Drive cost savings through identifying reserved instances not in use or exchanging reserved instances on a regular basis. bull Manage monthly cloud platform (e. g., AWS, etc.) invoice processing and allocation of charges to internal cloud service product areas (e. g., Storage, DB, Server, Network) bull Conduct annual re-forecast of cloud platform expenses bull Drive cloud platform demand management, resource optimization and cost efficiencies bull Serve as the subject matter expert for cloud analytics and financial management tools bull Create reports to track spending trends and the impact of cost optimizations Additional Job Requirements bull Manage Development charges cost allocations based on the vendor provided data and invoices bull Actively participate in month end closings bull Manage annual RD tax credit allocations bull Conduct analysis and generate reports as needed
