The Systems Technician position reports to the IT Operations Manager and provides technical support for employees and systems at our Virginia Support Office (VSO) in Reston VA as well as golf courses managed by the company. The ideal Systems Technician is passionate about technology, enjoys working in a team environment, has excellent interpersonal skills, is a problem solver, and communicates effectively.

Position Summary:

Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:

    -Experience with Windows operating systems.
    -Experience with iOS and Android operating systems.
    -Ability to communicate effectively
    -Passionate about technology.
    -1-2 years technical support or Service Desk experience preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

    -The Systems Technician will be a member of a team providing Service Desk and Desktop Support for 1000+ end-users operating in a mostly Windows environment.
    -Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Windows hardware and software problems.
    -Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve point of sale (POS) technical issues.
    -Ensures a timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps.
    -Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users.
    -Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
    -Responds to telephone calls, email and other requests for technical support.
    -Documents, tracks, and monitors the incident/problem/task to ensure a timely resolution.
    -Interact with other technical staff, software vendors, and/or internal operations teams to restore service and/or identify and correct system issues.
    -Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff and customers.
    -Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
    -Experience with ticketing systems to create and close tickets.
    -This position requires occasional travel to troubleshoot, install, and provide support to our golf facilities.
    -Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
