E&H Ace Hardware is now offering a New Hire Bonus Program. Join our Team and earn up to $500 for full time employment and $250 for part time employment. Payment will be made at 90 days and 180 days employed. Full time employment will be $500.00 ($250.00 at 90 days and $250.00 at 180 days). Part time employment will be $250.00 ($125.00 at 90 days and $125.00 at 180 days).About E&H Hardware Group LLC. Outdoor Power Equipment Service Desk Associate Responsibilities Sales Related: • Assist customers in selecting equipment for purchase • Accurately complete sales transactions • Follow company credit policy for all sales • Maintain sales floor – including signage, prices, point of service material and arrangement of equipment and stock displays • Maintain a high level of knowledge on products carried • Maintain a high level of product knowledge relevant to the buying habits of the dealership clientele and local area • Assist Shop manager in updating sales, marketing and promotional information • Assist Shop manager in selecting appropriate vendors and lines of equipment for both sale and rental • Assist Shop manager in developing guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction • Assist Shop manager in establishing a pricing policy that balances volume, customer loyalty, and the cost of doing business • Perform all duties in an independent manner with minimum supervision • Recognize and perform duties which need to be performed although not directly assigned • Delivery for sales, service, and rental • Responsible for inventory control Department Related: • Exercising sound and ethical business practices • If possible, resolve all customer complaints with the goal of reducing company expense and maintaining customer satisfaction • Ensure safe work practices are followed • Demonstrate good judgment in investigating problems • Demonstrate ability to tactfully handle difficult situations Skills & Knowledge: • Ability to understand customer requirements and use knowledge of products to recommend equipment that meets customer’s needs. • Physical ability to stand continually, sit, crouch, bend reach, walk, climb, and maneuver well. • Able to multitask. • Able to work under pressure. • Good customer service skills. Starting Wage is between $10.75 and $16.25 per hour commensurate on relevant experience. General: • Must be able to pass a post-job offer drug screen & physical • This position requires that the applicant have a satisfactory background check prior to accepting the position Education: • High School diploma required. College degree preferred. Experience: • 3-5 years of sales experience. • Power equipment experience also appreciated.
