Now hiring +5 CNC operators for a large manufacturer in Charleston, SC. These are direct placement positions paying anywhere between $15-$18/hr and offering outstanding benefits!!

  • The CNC Operator will be required to read blue prints, change tools, make offsets, and perform cleaning as needed to ensure equipment is always maintained in optimal working order.
  • Specifically, the Operator will be responsible for the quality and output of assigned machines.
  • The Operator will be required to work as a team with fellow employees, shift supervisors, Lab, Logistics and Maintenance to accomplish set goals.
  • Operate, set up and trouble shoot CNC machines.
  • Produce parts according to the batch document, blue prints and written or verbal instructions.
  • Change tools, make offsets and calculate tolerance
  • Accurately utilize and understand caliber, gauges, micrometers and other measuring equipment.
  • Pack parts into specified packing.
  • Control parts ensuring quality and output of machines.
  • Responsible, as appropriate, for the quality and quantity of output.
  • Operate metal-cutting machines.
  • Operate machines for serial production.
  • Control parts regarding quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Perform daily maintenance and cleaning, of CNC or other assigned equipment, as instructed and according to specifications to ensure equipment is operating within specified tolerances
