  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, 12+ years in information  technology and 5+ years data architecture experience across OLTP, reporting, analytics and/or data science.
  • Prior work experience as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, Data Scientist, Data
  • Analyst or similar roles.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise data architecture for transactional systems, analytical platforms, information life cycle management, master data management, data governance framework, data replication, data integration and large-scale data migration.
  • Understanding of database structure and modeling principles
  • Experience gathering and analyzing non-functional requirements and designing  world class performing data solutions
  • Deep experience with relational and non-relational data platforms, Data Lake concepts,  modern ETL/ELT Automation Techniques, Data Cataloging, etc.

Sr Data Architect JOB OVERVIEW • As Senior Data Architect you will be responsible for the overall state-of-the-art data platform and advanced analytical data architecture, which are fully aligned with business and data monetization strategy, leveraging advanced data techniques including artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science. • You will develop a strategy to improve the value of data, improve effectiveness of information stewardship, and streamline the flow of data within the organization and to our customers. • The Senior Data Architect is accountable for partnering with key roles (e.g. product owners, engineers, architects, etc.) to understand the details of Product enhancements and technical process initiatives, for creating and maintaining technical designs that align with COMPANY's overall technical principles and strategy, and for mentoring and guiding engineers and other Architects on these architectural designs and technology standards during construction. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Determine overall data modeling standards, guidelines, best practices and approved modeling techniques. • Lead overall data architecture and exert influence across all cross functional teams including data engineering, business intelligence, data science, and data integration teams • Lead the data design of solutions for large projects and programs, through expert knowledge, translating high-level business requirements into data models and appropriate metadata, test data, and data standards. • Lead and drive the design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support transactional and analytical systems. • Lead and participate in the peer review and quality assurance of project architectural data artifacts; influence key architecture decisions and report implications to the architectural governance forums. • Ensure that all relevant project teams follow a common set of data principles and patterns, utilize a standard set of technology frameworks, and apply data architecture best practices that helps increase quality and agility. • Provide thought leadership across the data community to ensure solutions are built in alignment with platform principles, design patterns, and standards. • Develop data architectures that are inherently secure, robust, resilient, scalable, and enable API-centric and microservices ecosystem. • Define data infrastructure and deployment topology by working with peers across the technology organization to support continuous integration and deployment, and DevOp(s) processes. • Identify the data assets that are deemed significant to the enterprise, as determined by the business impact, decision impact, risk mitigation or organizational impact of the information • Identify emerging data technologies and develop architectural roadmaps to modernize technology landscape and drive innovation EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, 12+ years in information technology and 5+ years data architecture experience across OLTP, reporting, analytics and/or data science. • Prior work experience as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, Data Scientist, Data • Analyst or similar roles. • Extensive experience with enterprise data architecture for transactional systems, analytical platforms, information life cycle management, master data management, data governance framework, data replication, data integration and large-scale data migration. • Understanding of database structure and modeling principles • Experience gathering and analyzing non-functional requirements and designing world class performing data solutions • Deep experience with relational and non-relational data platforms, Data Lake concepts, modern ETL/ELT Automation Techniques, Data Cataloging, etc. • Extensive experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence applications and Data Science development languages (R, Python, etc). • Familiarity with data visualization and self-service BI/data warehousing/ advanced analytics tools • Ability to lead design activities, and influence engineering and product directions • Ability to interact with external DBAs, data engineers, product managers, business stakeholders and other technology leaders Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills • 5+ years of direct responsibility for strategy formulation and/or business analytics, database management, data analytics, data integration, and database development • Experience in the FinTech space desirable.
