SCADA Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek engineering is currently hiring a Scada engineer to help grow and build a Denver team for one of our top Engineering Clients.

Description

SCADA engineer is expected to be able to perform with limited supervision, developing the programming for a Wonderware System platform system to include, but not be limited to, automated control system development, testing and evaluation, installation, and configuration. Must have experience and be certified with Wonderware System Platform ver. 10 or higher.

Working with Wonderware and local rep. Local rep is salesman, but has no background in software. Would be going in with wonderware rep and talk to technical components. Develop how this would apply to wonderware. Move project forward. Client facing. Software developer and personable. They may be involved in some of current work- coming up in 2 weeks and negotiating MSA with client in Denver. Pick up all of the wonderware and cyber once contract ends. Industry is oil and gas. Targets for coors, tyson, farmers, utilities. Going to be broad area. Not restricting. Wonderware house for all industries. Largest beverage bottlers in US for scada. Plywood manufacturer. Integrating PLC and control devices into the HMI. 40 hour work week.

Market sectors include: petroleum, gas, chemical, power, petrochemical, automation and controls and EPCm.

Qualifications

-5 year minimum of SCADA system programming to include installation, deployment, testing, network protocols and system and network administration
-Bachelors in any discipline of engineering
-One or more of the Wonderware certifications: InTouch (lowest level cert), SystemPlatform or archestrA, MES, historian

Additional Info

Government clearance, security clearance, national agency check local mac LC. Greater flexibility if they do have clearance he can have them help with gov't group (10 months to acquire). If lapsed in two years that is easy.
